Supercavitation Testing Project involves the initial examination of cavitation parameters such as forces, moments, cavitation envelope length, diameter, and noise characteristics for cavitators with different geometries at low cavitation numbers. Subsequently, these cavitators will be positioned in front of an underwater object for similar investigations. A specialized experimental setup has been designed for these measurements.
The Supercavitation Testing Project is carried out by Istanbul Technical University (ITU) and ROKETSAN.
